Overview of role:

We have an exciting opportunity to join the M&C Digital team within Mobility &

Convenience (M&C) ANZ as the ANZ Site system specialist. M&C aims to double convenience margin by 2030 with digital playing a key role within the strategy. The Digital Enablement team plays a key role in working closely with all of M&C to identify store growth and simplification opportunities which require digital enablement and working closely with Technology, IO, GBS and Operations to bring fit for purpose opportunities to M&C.

The ANZ Site system specialist plays a key role acting as a SME across our ESO platform and other site systems such as the site admin hub and Digital apps.

This role is also key to our Customers & Stores at the heart principle, playing the key role of ensuring our system delivery is in line with the requirements and feedback from our store teams.

 

Key Accountabilities 

  • SME for ESO systems, sustain, optimise and updates
  • Conduct system user acceptance testing and enhancement of ESO, works to diagnoses and resolve problems in response to reported incidents working closely with end users and interface with Technology teams within CVC mission
  • Responsible for maintaining site admin hub and optimization of digital apps (control of work and food expiry)
  • Works closely and in collaboration with Digital Operations Speciliast and Store teams to ensure seamless delivery within retail operations
  • Develop and manage key relationships across MC&M, Technology, IO, GBS and vendors
  • Provide support in sites escalations and support management
  • Lead with safety first always, complies with the function’s safety and ethics rules and processes, follows procedures and models who we are
  • Requirement at times to work outside of standard business to support ANZ hours and Global location of key internal partners and external partners
  • Works closely with Digital Enablement advisors to support and execute key programs of work.

 

Essential Education:

  • A tertiary qualification in Commerce, IT, or equivalent work experience
  • Retail, Operations or equivalent experience is beneficial

  • Ability to prioritize and adhere to deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task
  • A technical, logical thought process with attention to detail and use of initiative
  • Effective communications skills - written, verbal, presentation
  • Open mindset for new ways of working, ability to adapt, being curious, challenge status quo, focus delivery on value and prioritization
  • Self-starter

 

Desirable Criteria:

  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced team
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and complexity 
  • Previous experience in implementing digital projects into retail environments

 

Additional Information:

As with all bp policies, processes and expectations, all employees are expected to comply with the group’s requirements on hybrid working of 60/40 (60% office based, 40% remote working)
