As Retail Communications and Engagement Advisor ANZ, you craft and nurture the stories we share with more than 6,000 customer-facing retail employees. When you join the team, you’ll bring: 

  • Minimum 2 years proven experience in communications with fast-paced, consumer brands- bonus points if this has been with frontline or retail audiences
  • Incredibly strong written skills- both technical ability and storytelling- strong written skills is absolutely core to this role
  • Persuasive communication skills and ability to develop engaging messaging platforms
  • Experience working with digital platforms (ie Yammer, WorkJam et) with proven ability to communicate effectively through these platforms
  • Experience accelerating projects and digital channel BAU activities
  • Understanding of BAU retail activity and operational communication ability
  • Empathy for employees and a knack for creatively engaging with diverse audiences
  • Big picture thinking to translate communication ideas into execution plans and delivery- identifying gaps or silos and using communication techniques to plug these gaps
  • Strong sense of autonomy and personal accountability- this is a fast paced role and requires someone who can take a brief and deliver, alongside show a strong sense of initiative
  • High-energy with the ability to pivot quickly to changing priorities.
  • Bonus points for design and user experience prowess.  

 

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Execute a communications strategy that tells a comprehensive narrative and story for retail teams using new digital platforms to reach all employees- we are in a very exciting communications phase
  • Plan and streamline the flow of communication across internal digital platforms
  • Create content that drives awareness and engagement of projects and digital programs
  • Produce a cadence of regular communications across our current frontline communication channels
  • Partner closely with our frontline to focus on storytelling frameworks
  • Support the continual execution of best practice communication standards
  • Discover trends and feedback to drive improvements to strategy, process, and platform
  • Co-create and support the engaging delivery of events and team meetings.
