ABOUT THE ROLE

Peter Alexander is not your typical fashion retailer—we’re about fun, comfort, self-expression and bringing joy to sleepwear lovers everywhere. A household favourite in Australia for over 35 years, the brand is now expanding in the UK, and we’re looking for a In-Store Visual Merchandiser / Supervisor who’s ready to help lead our dream team at White City.

Yes, you can wear pyjamas to work. But this role is so much more than that – you’ll bring the Peter Alexander brand to life through eye-catching displays, support the smooth running of the store, and help deliver an exceptional experience for every customer as we introduce the Peter Alexander magic to the UK.

This is a 12-month maternity leave contract with flexible hours of 32–40 per week. The role requires flexibility to work weekends, early mornings, late-night trading hours, and occasional bank holidays.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER:

  • A structured 3-month training plan with dedicated Line Manager support to ensure your success
  • Competitive salary with the opportunity for monthly performance-based incentives
  • Paid overtime and flexible roster options, including alternate weekends off
  • 50% staff discount on Peter Alexander products
  • A chance to be part of an iconic, expanding brand, helping shape its future in the UK
  • Career progression opportunities with personalised development plans to support your growth

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the Management team in driving sales, achieving targets, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Execute and maintain Visual Merchandising briefs, campaign changeovers, and product launches to uphold brand standards and maximise commercial impact.
  • Coach and develop the store team on VM execution, stock processes, and customer service standards to ensure consistency across the store.
  • Assist in the day-to-day running of the store, including opening and closing duties, rota management, and ensuring optimal team coverage.
  • Oversee stock flow, replenishment, and accuracy while implementing processes to minimise loss.
  • Maintain high standards of store presentation, housekeeping, and a safe working environment for both customers and the team.
  • Actively contribute to a positive store culture, leading by example on the shop floor.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • A genuine passion and proven experience in visual merchandising—you love styling, creating engaging displays, and understand how great VM drives sales.
  • Previous retail leadership experience, ideally in a supervisor or keyholder position.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural flair for coaching others.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Commercial awareness and a customer-first mindset.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

We can only accept applications from candidates who are currently located in and eligible to work within the UK.
