About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager to join our team on a 12-month contract. In this role, you will be responsible for business partnering with our Brands, as well as supporting the broader business with project integration and transitional services. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to contribute to key business initiatives and grow within the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand P&L Review & Analysis: Review and analyse brand P&Ls against projections and budget, document variances, and correlate results to brand activities
- Prepare monthly executive summaries for management and meet with brand directors/management to present findings
- Divisional Cost Control & Reporting: Prepare and review monthly management reports for key divisional cost centres, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data and meet with cost centre owners to discuss results and identify cost management opportunities
- Budget & Projection Review: Assist business/cost centre owners in preparing budgets and projections
- Review brand P&L budgets to ensure accuracy and alignment with brand strategies and ensure projections are in line with commercial and merchandising team plans
- Transition & Integration: Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of transition and integration milestones
- Process Improvement: Review and improve the efficiency of current month-end reporting processes to ensure timely and accurate results
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary education in accounting with CA/CPA qualification
- Minimum of 3 years’ post-CA/CPA work experience
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in management accounting, compliance, and reporting, with advanced MS Excel skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders
