About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a People Support Advisor to join our People & Culture - Retail team. Reporting into the People Support Team Leader and working closely with the broader P&C Team, this role will partner closely with our retail stores across Australia to ensure quality HR advice is delivered across all areas of People & Culture, Recruitment, Health & Safety, Employee Relations and Premier Retail policies and processes.
Responsibilities
- Deliver phone-based HR advice and support to our retail stores
- Work with our Retail Managers to facilitate the recruitment process for all Sales Assistants
- Manage recruitment/HR administration tasks such as, screen and short-list applicants, create employee contracts, manage new starter paperwork and HR data entry
- Provide initial support and report on Health and Safety matters
- Identify and advise on ER queries and escalate them when required
Required Skills & Experience
- Tertiary studies in Human Resources are advantageous however not essential
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage high volume recruitment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to establish relationships with stakeholders across all areas of the business
- Strong sense of integrity to ensure the information we provide is timely and accurate
- Passion for Human Resources coupled with an appetite to learn and grow
