About the Role

We are looking for an energetic and motivated individual to join our People & Culture team in the role of P&C Systems & Reporting Analyst. This role is a key support to the P&C team, contributing to the effective management and optimisation of HR reporting, processes and systems. The salary range for this role is $75,000 - $85,000 excluding superannuation.

Key Responsibilities

Data Management and Reporting

  • Support the collection, validation, and analysis of HR data to ensure its integrity and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
  • Generate reports and provide data-driven insights to HR and management, aiding in strategic workforce planning and informed decision making
  • Adhere to data privacy and security guidelines, ensuring confidential and sensitive HR data is protected

System Maintenance and Support

  • Assist in the maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting of HRIS systems, ensuring data accuracy and system functionality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to address user issues, perform system testing, and resolve technical problems promptly

Process Improvement and System Enhancement

  • Collaborate with P&C and cross-functional departments and stakeholders to identify areas for process improvement to gain efficiencies
  • Contribute to the analysis, design, and implementation of system enhancements, ensuring alignment with HR and cross-functional business objectives

 Skills & Experience

  • Familiarity with HR processes and systems, such as HRIS, Applicant Tracking Software (Page Up advantageous), Payroll Software (Chris 21 advantageous), and timekeeping systems (Ceridian advantageous)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex data and draw meaningful conclusions
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools, reporting software, and Microsoft Office suite
  • Qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (advantageous)

Specific Languages and Required Competency Levels

  • Batch Scripting (Shell, PowerShell, etc) – Intermediate
  • SQL – Intermediate
  • Python – Intermediate or an Entry level knowledge (with an Intermediate level in another Object Orientated Programming Language e.g. Java, C++, Objective-C, Dart)
  • HTML/CSS – Entry Level
