About the role: Aurizon is seeking a Network Closure Planning & Execution Lead (previously known as an Integrated Closure Project Manager) to manage Closure integration, monitor performance and develop closure strategies.

This role is key in optimising outcomes for stakeholders and rail providers within the Aurizon rail network by created safe executable plans. 

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the successful delivery of the Integrated Closure regime.
  • Lead oversight of Closure performance, reviews and investigations into lessons learned.
  • Assist and provide feedback in long term Closure strategies in consultation with key stakeholders.
  • Continuous review and improvement of the Integrated Closures.
  • Managing the creation of a Closure plan from planning through to execution. This includes reviewing all submitted scope items to form an executable package of works (identifying clashing works, issues, and constraints), reviewing Rail Traffic Movement Plans, consolidating, reviewing and submitting Closure Stow Plans for approval, facilitating Closure meetings, completing and distributing Closure documents and more.
  • During execution of closures, this role transitions to an Execution focused role – acting as the key contact for escalations, issues and requests from execution teams and stakeholders..

About you:

  • Extensive knowledge of project and program planning.
  • Change management skills.
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of integrated and infrastructure planning
