About the Role:

Aurizon’s Containerised Freight division is expanding, and we are seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to support the development of new rail and containerised freight terminals across Australia. In this pivotal role, you will manage contracts where Aurizon is either the provider or recipient of services and materials, ensuring that all contracted services are delivered with a focus on best practices, business excellence, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service Delivery: Ensure the flexible, cost-effective delivery of services and materials, with a focus on quality, added value, timely performance, and a strong commercial and customer focus.
  • Business Growth & Improvement: Continuously improve and grow the delivery or purchasing systems to enhance business outcomes.
  • Contract Governance: Maintain a high level of contract governance and meticulous record-keeping.
  • Stakeholder Management: Effectively manage customer and supplier relationships for both internal and external contracts.
  • Performance Management: Achieve KPIs and lead business improvement projects to enhance contract performance.
  • Change Management: Oversee contract and system updates, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with evolving standards.
  • Compliance: Align contractor systems and performance with internal and external standards and obligations.

About You:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in contract administration (mandatory).
  • Intermediate level of SAP experience.
  • Intermediate level of Excel experience.
  • High level of skill in contracts management.
  • High level of skill in project management.
  • High level of skill in relationship management.
  • High level of skill in procurement.
  • Substantial level of skill in asset management systems.
