About the role: We’re seeking a Senior Analyst to join our Finance Partnering – Bulk team in Brisbane.
In this key role, you’ll sit at the intersection of finance, operations and technology, driving the integrity of our revenue processes and unlocking opportunities for commercial improvement.
Working closely with Sales and Commercial teams, you’ll develop and enhance analytical and reporting capability, ensure the accuracy of every transaction, and optimise billing systems to deliver better outcomes for the business.
This position will also provide leadership to one direct report, offering an opportunity to grow people capability while working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, manage and enhance reporting and analytical frameworks that support financial and operational performance.
- Identify and uncover revenue opportunities while minimising leakage across business streams.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance across all transactional and billing processes.
- Partner with Sales, Commercial and Operations teams to deliver data-driven insights and improved commercial outcomes.
- Lead system optimisation activities, particularly across SAP and related billing systems.
- Provide mentoring and guidance to one direct report to enhance team capability.
- Support strategic projects, business cases and financial modelling activities that inform decision-making.
About you
You’re a commercially minded professional who enjoys problem-solving and improving systems and processes. You’ll bring:
- A tertiary qualification in Finance, Commerce, Accounting or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in financial or commercial analysis, ideally within a complex operational environment.
- SAP experience (finance, billing or reporting modules) – highly regarded.
- Strong analytical, reporting and data interpretation skills with the ability to turn insights into action.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven capability in leading or mentoring others.
