Aurizon’s expanding Containerised Freight business is looking for a driven Sales Representative to help more customers move their freight by rail.

You'll be on the frontline helping businesses make the shift.
What you’ll do
- Grow a portfolio of customers using Aurizon’s rail‑based containerised freight services.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across Australia.
- Engage customers to deeply understand their transport requirements and provide tailored rail‑freight solutions.
- Build strong and lasting relationships with existing clients.
- Generate leads through cold outreach, referrals, networking and industry contacts.
- Maintain accurate customer data and sales activity records through CRM discipline.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to prepare bids, proposals and pricing.
- Stay across market trends, competitor activity and customer movements.
What you’ll bring
- 12+ months’ experience in transport, logistics, freight forwarding or similar (road, rail, containerised, or warehousing) – Preferred.
- Confidence working with customers discussing commercial terms and operational requirements.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence and build rapport quickly.
- A proactive mindset, natural curiosity, and motivation to deliver growth.
- Drive to learn the rail freight sector — full commercial training provided.
