18‑month Fixed Term Contract

We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our Finance team on an 18‑month fixed-term contract. This role plays a key part in supporting business performance through high‑quality financial analysis and reporting (with a focus on fuel), as well as financial transaction processing and contributing to broader management accounting activities.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will provide clear financial insights, support informed decision‑making and help drive continuous improvement across financial processes and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver detailed fuel cost analysis and reporting, including trend analysis, variance analysis and insights into key cost drivers
  • Prepare consolidated monthly fuel reports and support organisational sustainability reporting through collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Maintain and enhance financial models to support planning and performance analysis
  • Contribute to period-end processes including month-end close, journals and reconciliations
  • Assist with audit processes including half-year, hard close and year-end requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement across processes and systems
  • Oversight of offshore team members

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline
  • CA or CPA qualification (mandatory)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a management accounting or financial analysis role
  • Strong analytical capability with experience producing clear, decision‑ready financial insights
  • Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting
  • Ability to manage complex data sets and financial models
  • Confident communicator who can engage effectively with stakeholders across the business
  • Experience in a large, complex or geographically dispersed organisation will be highly regarded
