About the role:

Join Aurizon’s Bulk West team in Kwinana and take the wheel of heavy machinery that keeps Australia’s resources moving. We are seeking a qualified, safety-focused Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at the Kwinana Container Terminal. If you are passionate about safety and operational excellence, this is an excellent opportunity to become part of a high-performing and supportive team.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Load and unload freight in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.
• Operate MC vehicle combinations in accordance with WAHVA requirements and relevant legislation.
• Conduct pre-operational safety checks and equipment inspections.
• Follow established procedures to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve operational targets.
• Identify and report equipment faults or safety concerns promptly.

What We're Looking For:

• Reach Stacker licence (mandatory).
• Forklift licence (mandatory).
• Current C Class driver’s licence (MC licence highly regarded and attracts a higher pay level).
• Dangerous Goods Driver Licence highly regarded (DG allowance paid).
• Availability to work a rotating roster of 7 days / 7 off / 7 nights / 7 off.
• Proven experience operating Kone Reach Stackers, including stacking up to five high.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Physical fitness to work outdoors and walk long distances on uneven ground.
