About the role:

Aurizon is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to support the delivery of high‑quality facilities and workplace services across our Western Australian operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring our sites operate safely, efficiently and cost‑effectively while meeting compliance and service expectations.

Working closely with site leaders, contractors and internal stakeholders, you’ll coordinate maintenance activities, manage contracts and contribute to strong health, safety and environmental outcomes.

What you’ll be doing

• Coordinate facilities and workplace services to meet operational requirements across assigned sites
• Manage maintenance contracts and service providers to ensure safety, compliance and performance standards are met
• Build strong working relationships with site management and internal/external stakeholders
• Monitor, report and support monthly financial performance against facilities budgets
• Assist with annual facilities and workplace budget preparation
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with statutory obligations and internal policies
• Contribute to continuous improvement in service delivery, safety and cost efficiency

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in corporate and/or industrial facilities management
• Sound understanding of facilities planning, infrastructure and asset management
• Strong contractor management experience in an operational environment
• Proven stakeholder engagement, communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage service delivery across a distributed asset portfolio
• Trade qualification in facilities management or a related discipline (preferred)
• Must be able to pass a medical
