Aurizon’s Bulk business is growing—and we’re looking for a commercially savvy Commercial Account Manager to take ownership of a key customer portfolio across Western Australia.
This is a high-impact role where you’ll partner with major customers including both global and ASX listed companies, optimise contract performance, and identify growth opportunities within your portfolio—while working closely with operations to deliver real outcomes.
Reporting to the Commercial Portfolio Manager, you will take ownership of key customer partnerships—driving contract performance, identifying growth pathways, and delivering commercially sound outcomes aligned to both customer and business priorities.
You will operate as the trusted interface between customers and the broader enterprise, bringing together commercial insight, operational understanding, and market intelligence to deliver sustained value.
You’ll:
- Own and manage a portfolio of strategic customer accounts
- Drive contract performance, ensuring value, compliance, and commercial outcomes
- Identify and growth opportunities with your customers
- Lead customer negotiations and support long-term contract renewals
- Provide accurate forecasting and insights (weekly, quarterly, long-term)
- Act as the key conduit between customers and internal teams
- Use data and market intelligence to influence decisions and outcomes
You’re commercially sharp, relationship-driven, and confident operating in a complex environment.
You’ll bring:
- Experience in account management or commercial roles
- Exposure to bulk logistics operations, mining or transport
- Strong contract management and negotiation capability
- Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- A proactive mindset with the ability to identify and convert opportunities
