Current Opportunity: Graduate Business Analyst (Commercial)

As a Graduate Business Analyst within our Integrated Planning & Commercial team, you will support key business initiatives while building strong analytical and commercial capability. You will work on real projects across our Containerised Freight business.

This role is designed to accelerate your development through hands-on experience, exposure to cross-functional teams, and participation in structured graduate program rotations. You’ll be encouraged to think strategically, solve complex problems, and develop a strong understanding of how our business operates, while delivering meaningful outcomes that support service excellence.

Some examples of the work you would be completing:

  • Develop capital and operational budgets for specific projects
  • Learning to create investment models and justify outcomes
  • Understand and review finance policy
  • Partaking in operational and financial risk assessments
  • Review and negotiate contracts
  • Visit sites to understand the organisation
  • Work directly with operations, legal, finance & property
  • Work directly with stakeholders such as government, clients or vendors
  • Learning to set up commercial deals and structures

About You

You are a recent or soon-to-be graduate with a degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, Law or Commerce, and are eager to kick-start your career in a dynamic commercial environment. Ideally, you will be graduating in 2026 or have completed your degree within the past 12 months.

You’re curious, analytical and enjoy solving problems, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into meaningful outcomes. You communicate confidently, work well in a team, and are comfortable navigating ambiguity and change.

A genuine interest in how businesses operate, combined with a proactive mindset and willingness to learn, will set you up for success in this role. Exposure to project work, internships or university-based projects will be highly regarded.
