Location: Brisbane
Remuneration/Benefit: Negotiable
We’re looking for a commercially minded finance professional who thrives on improving systems, fixing processes, and making financial data more meaningful.
This is a great opportunity to step into a role where you’ll own SAP costing, enhance finance processes, and partner with the business to deliver better insights and decision-making.
About the Role
In this role, you will take ownership of the SAP costing environment (CO module) and play a key role in improving how financial data is captured, allocated, and reported across the business.
You’ll work closely with stakeholders across Finance and the wider organisation to ensure the numbers are accurate, processes are efficient, and insights are delivered in a way that adds real value.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the SAP costing module, ensuring data integrity and system effectiveness
- Identify and implement process improvements across budgeting, reporting, and cost allocation
- Support and enhance month-end processes, including cost allocations and reconciliations
- Provide insightful financial analysis to support business performance and decision-making
- Influence stakeholders, driving better use of systems and financial data
- Improve accessibility and usability of financial data for key stakeholders
About You
You’re a senior finance professional who understands both the numbers and the systems behind them.
You will ideally bring:
- Strong experience in management accounting within a complex organisation
- Hands-on expertise in SAP (particularly CO / costing)
- A track record of improving finance processes or systems
- The ability to translate financial data into meaningful insights
- Confidence working with and influencing senior stakeholders
- A proactive mindset — you naturally look for better ways of doing things
