About the role:

As Warehouse & Distribution Leader, you’ll coordinate terminal, warehouse and people-related activities onsite to ensure operational requirements, customer needs and safety standards are met.

• Coordinate terminal resources, staff and subcontractor activities to meet operational and customer requirements
• Manage processes, systems and procedures to support safe and efficient operations
• Support people-related activities including performance, coaching and continuous improvement
• Build effective working relationships with internal teams, customers and external stakeholders
• Ensure dangerous goods, environmental and WHS requirements are managed in line with regulations
• Coordinate maintenance checks and follow-up actions for terminal plant and equipment

About You:

We’re looking for an organised and practical leader with logistics experience, strong customer focus and the ability to coordinate work across a busy terminal environment.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a logistics environment
• Previous experience in large-scale logistics or a heavy industrial organisation
• Strong organisational skills and ability to coordinate operations in a team environment
• Knowledge of statutory requirements, policies and operational standards
• Strong customer service, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to influence, negotiate and support diverse work groups
• Computer skills and confidence using operational systems
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to support continuous improvement
