Aurizon is seeking an experienced leader to drive the strategy, performance and continuous improvement of critical technology services across the organisation.
You will lead the service strategy and governance framework, drive service performance outcomes, oversee significant technology vendor relationships, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, value and customer experience through automation and AI enabled initiatives.
About the role
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and delivering the service strategy and multi-year roadmap.
- Driving service performance through KPI, risk and customer experience measures.
- Leading governance, reporting and assurance activities for technology services.
- Managing significant vendor contracts, commercial outcomes and licensing arrangements.
- Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, cost management and value optimisation initiatives.
- Delivering strategic transformation programs, including automation and AI opportunities.
- Providing executive-level reporting, insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
- Ensuring services meet compliance, risk and audit requirements.
About you
You will bring:
- Demonstrated experience leading service strategy, performance, governance or transformation functions within a large and complex organisation.
- Strong commercial and financial management capability, including budget ownership and cost optimisation.
- Proven experience managing strategic supplier relationships and contract outcomes.
- The ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders and executive leaders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on measurable business outcomes.
- Experience driving change, continuous improvement and transformation initiatives.
