About the role:
As our Warehouse Store Person, you will be working as part of the Visy Logistics Team. We currently have multiple vacancies, across our Logistics sites based in Onehunga and Penrose, Auckland. These are permanent full-time positions working a minimum of 42.5 hours a week. Reporting to the Warehouse Team Leader, the Warehouse Store person is responsible for the inventory control management within the warehouse. This includes operating a forklift/fork hoist, receiving, storing, and distributing of goods, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and safety of the warehouse area.
What you will bring to the team:
As our new Warehouse store person, you will be a team player with a strong work ethic. You will have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in warehouse operations and inventory management. You will be committed to working safely and engaging with all safety processes and procedures, along with the following:
- Experience in operating a Forklift/ Counterbalance and hold a relevant licence (i.e. F Endorsement).
- Good communication skills and enjoy working in a team environment.
- Experience with SAP and warehousing management systems.
- A good level of physical fitness, as there will be manual handling involved, lifting up to 20kg.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry and record keeping.
