About the Role
We’re seeking skilled Maintenance Fitters to join our Warwick Farm Board Plant. This is a full-time permanent role, with Day, Afternoon or Night shift available:
- Day shift: Monday – Thursday 6am – 2pm & Friday 6am – 11am
- Afternoon shift: Monday – Thursday 2pm – 10pm & Friday 11am – 4pm
- Night Shift: Monday – Thursday 10pm – 6am & Friday 4pm – 9pm
- Overtime available some weekdays and Saturdays - paid at penalty rates
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production machinery.
- Working with the production team and fitters to resolve issues with minimal downtime.
- Contribute to project work, including installation and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Working with corrugating machines or in high-speed manufacturing machinery.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing.
- Utilise MEX maintenance system to report jobs completed.
What You’ll Bring
- Maintenance Fitter Trade Qualification
- Strong experience in preventative and breakdown maintenance in manufacturing environments
- Skills in fault-finding / diagnostics and knowledge of CMMS systems like MEX
- A proactive attitude and a commitment to safety
