At Visy, we’re leading the charge in the circular economy, revolutionizing packaging, remanufacturing, and recycling. With over 75 years of experience, we’re powering Australia and New Zealand’s food and beverage packaging industries with recycled content.

As part of the Glass Project, we are building a state-of-the-art glass manufacturing and recycling facility in Yatala, south of Brisbane. This significant investment in Queensland manufacturing will recycle up to 200,000 tonnes of glass annually, producing 1 billion bottles a year.

Supporting the Glass Project Talent Lead, you'll help build the workforce for this greenfield project, a key opportunity for agency or in-house recruiters to transition in-house and develop project management skills. You'll work closely with the Construction Project Director and Glass Factory Leader to recruit a high-performing team and help deliver this facility on schedule. Expected to operate for the next 100 years, this factory will set a new standard in sustainability and glass manufacturing.

Your Responsibilities:

• Proactively source and identify talent for Trade, Blue Collar, and Engineering roles though advertising, social media, referrals, and brand awareness.
• Collaborate and support the Talent Lead in delivering recruitment project milestone.
• Engage with Local community and represent Visy at during job fair and local event
• Ensure a positive and seamless candidate experience as well as negotiating offers with candidates

What you’ll bring:

• Demonstrate experience in recruiting technical trade, blue-collar, or engineering roles, with expertise in high-volume settings and projects.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in the use of various sourcing channels and proactive talent pooling.
• A proactive mindset and motivation to drive continuous improvement.
