Role Details:
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role is based at our Board plant in Gepps Cross.
As a Plant Electrician, you will join our reliability and maintenance team, playing a crucial role in ensuring smooth production and operational continuity. This role operates on a rotating shift basis, alternating between day and afternoon shifts.
What you'll do:
- Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance.
- Conduct small and large electrical installations.
- Diagnose and resolve faults.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings.
- Install and maintain machinery and equipment.
- Apply continuous improvement practices to enhance safety, efficiency, and quality.
- Understand and comply with OH&S requirements and HACCP standards.
What You Will Bring:
- Hold a current Unrestricted A-Class Electrical License & trade qualification.
- Previous maintenance experience in a fixed plant and/or manufacturing environment.
- Experience with PLC and control system diagnostics.
- Experience in LV & HV Systems and Switching
