Visy is powering the circular economy, closing the loop between packaging, remanufacturing and recycling. Over 75 years, we've grown to 7,000 employees and 150 global operations – predominately in Australia and New Zealand.
We believe materials are not recycled until they’ve been made into new products. We collect and sort recyclable materials like paper, cardboard, glass, plastics and metals from households and businesses, and locally remanufacture them back into new, sustainable packaging. From cardboard boxes, water bottles and jam jars to food and beverage cans, we are using recycled content to power Australia and New Zealand’s food and beverage packaging industry.
Role Details:
Based full time between Monday to Friday in our Dandenong site and reporting to the Warehouse Manager.
What you'll do:
· Receive and process orders in a timely and effective manner
· Maintaining timely and clear communication with customers
· Answering customer and stakeholder enquiries (phone and email)
· Working closely with our internal departments end to end to ensure exceptional service to our customers
· Prioritise workload to ensure deadlines are met and delight our customers
· Basic stock management to fulfil agreed customer requirements
· General administration duties as required within the department
· Facilitate team projects
· A proactive approach to safety and environment management as well as being proactive in our strategies of Continuous Improvement in World Class Manufacturing Standards
What you will bring:
· Great communication skills, both verbal and written
· High level of accuracy
· Willingness to learn with on-the-job training
· Experience with Microsoft office
· Prepared to work in a fast-paced environment
· Problem solving and negotiation skills
