Our busy plant based in Yatala, has opportunities for Machine Operators to join our team on a permanent full time basis working either a day or afternoon shift reporting to the Shift Manager.
The role may include but is not limited to:
- Loading raw materials into the machinery, ensuring correct amounts and process is followed
- Monitoring production machinery to ensure efficient flow of work
- Communicating with team members closely and efficiently
- Setting up machinery and equipment.
- Keeping the asset running efficiently.
- Troubleshoot & fit minor mechanical issues.
- Adhering to safety regulations.
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure product standards.
Shift Timings:
Day shift: 4am – 12pm
Afternoon shift: 4pm – 2am Mon-Thurs & 4pm 12am Fri
What you will bring to the team:
- Mechanical aptitude - a hands on mind set
- Forklift license desirable but not essential
- Experience within manufacturing desirable but not essential
- Relevant experience with paper product or within recycling industry desirable but not essential
- Ability to work autonomously and be self sufficient
- A strong commitment to safety and willingness to work as part of a team
