As a Warehouse Administrator, you'll play a pivotal role supporting the Sort Centre while collaborating with other Visy departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Based in Penrith and reporting directly to the Sort Centre Manager, you’ll be part of a close-knit team that values the contributions of this role.
Your responsibilities will include general warehouse administration, stock control, SAP processing, procurement support, and data entry. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and problem-solving skills to manage competing priorities while meeting customer expectations. What You Will Do:
- Act as the first point of contact for internal and external inquiries, managing phone calls and emails
- Collect and process all production paperwork to ensure data accuracy
- Update and maintain records through Monday.com, SAP, and Excel ensuring daily spreadsheet maintenance is correct
- Oversee employee documentation, including, inductions, compliance, timesheets for accurate payroll processing
- Complete weekly stock reconciliations across all states, ensuring alignment with system records
- Raise, track, and manage purchase orders across VIC, NSW, QLD, SA, & NZ, ensuring timely approvals and fulfillment
- Ensure warehouse scheduling is updated daily to prevent operational disruptions
- Investigate and resolve customer return discrepancies, ensuring accurate credit processing
- Proactively recommend process improvements to enhance order processing speed
- Ensure all employees, visitors, and transport drivers comply with OH&S policies
- Perform other ad hoc duties as required
What you will bring:
- Prior experience within a similar Warehouse, Production, or Logistics environment
- 3-5+ years’ experience in an Administration or Office Management position
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel is a must (Including pivot tables & Macros)
- Previous stock control, procurement, and financial administration responsibility
- Strong organizational skills, capable of multitasking and prioritizing competing demands
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders
