Job Title: Pricing and Tenders Manager
Visy is powering the circular economy, closing the loop between packaging, remanufacturing, and recycling. Over 75 years, we've grown to 7,000 employees and 150 global operations –predominately in Australia and New Zealand.
We believe materials are not recycled until they’ve been made into new products. We collect and sort recyclable materials like paper, cardboard, glass, plastics, and metals from households and businesses, and locally remanufacture them back into new, sustainable packaging. From cardboard boxes, water bottles, and jam jars to food and beverage cans, we are using recycled content to power Australia and New Zealand’s food and beverage packaging industry.
Role Details:
Visy Logistics, part of the wider Visy Group, provides Australian freight services with comprehensive and competitive road, rail and domestic sea freight, intermodal and 3PL capabilities. We offer genuine end-to-end logistics, taking full advantage of the Group’s existing supply chain network, linehaul fleet and expertise.

You will work across multiple business units, collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop innovative solutions.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager and based at our office in Clayton (Vic), you will support the Tender and Pricing portfolio of the Contract Logistics business of Visy.
What you'll do:
As the Pricing and Tenders Manager, you will focus on the design and delivery of standardized, global commercial best practices that maximize sales growth & profitable revenue, including programs to consistently improve pricing, salesforce effectiveness, sector & segment focus, product mix, customer selection and focus, and supplier management.
Your Key Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Pricing Strategy Mastermind: Develop and execute innovative pricing strategies, leveraging your deep understanding of market dynamics and competitive landscape.
- Data-Driven Insights: Analyse pricing data, market trends, and customer behavior to identify opportunities for optimizing pricing models and increasing revenue.
- Collaborative Partnership: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Operations, and Finance to align pricing strategies with business goals and ensure seamless implementation.
- Competitive Intelligence: Keep a finger on the pulse of industry trends and competitor pricing strategies to maintain our competitive edge.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor pricing performance, evaluate the effectiveness of pricing strategies, and provide actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Contract Evaluation: Assist in contract negotiations by providing data-backed insights on pricing structures and profitability.
What you will bring:
- A strong background in pricing analysis and financial modelling within the logistics/ warehousing/ transportation industry.
- Proven experience in driving revenue growth and profitability through pricing initiatives.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, working effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field (Master's preferred)
- Experience using SAP, Advanced Excel, Power BI would be advantageous.
- Strong project management and report writing skills
