We are currently recruiting an Operations Manager to join the Linehaul team at Visy Logistics in Wiri, Auckland. As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for all facets of safety, people, service delivery and P&L responsibility, and will be expected to improve safety lead and lag indicators, vehicle utilisation and profitability, whilst focusing on staff culture and morale.
This position will be a key contributor to the future success of Visy Global Logistics NZ operations, and you will be expected to work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve and exceed set targets and goals.
To be successful in this role, the right candidate needs to be willing to continually review work practices within all areas of the business and be willing to lead by example through hard work, creative thinking and a consultative team engagement approach to problem solving.
Your extensive experience in leadership, change management and customer service, in addition to your Supply Chain and Transport expertise, and your ability to enable and drive significant cost improvement and business growth targets, will set you up for success in this role.
