The Opportunity
Visy’s Fibre Packaging division is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Planning Analyst to join the team at our Coolaroo Pre-Print facility. This role plays a vital function in supporting the S&OP process, managing raw material and finished goods logistics, and improving operational performance through data insights.
Working closely with Key Account Managers and internal stakeholders, you will plan deliveries, coordinate transport, and provide analytical support to streamline production and ensure customers receive the highest level of service. This is a dynamic opportunity for a self-motivated individual with strong Excel/Power BI skills and a proactive mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule the delivery of key raw materials to meet production timelines.
- Coordinate road, rail, sea, and air freight of finished goods to ensure timely delivery.
- Manage weekly stock figures and forecasting for Visy’s key accounts across multiple sites.
- Conduct regular stocktakes and ensure accurate raw material and finished goods records.
- Attend customer planning meetings and provide timely responses to customer inquiries.
- Analyze trends in freight, production, and inventory data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Excel and Power BI.
- Support demand planning, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Assist in automating routine reports and administrative tasks.
- Administer and maintain quality systems including ISO, HACCP and FSC compliance.
- Contribute to internal audits, training coordination, and documentation control.
What You Will Bring to the Team
- Self-motivated with strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; Power BI experience preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a small team.
Desirable:
- Understanding of manufacturing, printing, or packaging operations.
- Familiarity with ISO, HACCP and FSC systems.
