The Opportunity

An opportunity exists for a vibrant person to join our successful sales team as an Account Manager within Visy Board based at Gepps Cross. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will play a key role in nurturing existing key relationships whilst identifying new opportunities. This is a highly autonomous, dynamic role, ideal for a proactive sales professional who wants to progress in their careers.

The role:

As a hands on, highly self-motivated and proactive Account Manager, you’ll thrive in this highly autonomous and dynamic role. Your strong customer service values are essential and an eye for detail is paramount.  You will need to be able to concurrently manage multiple tasks whilst maintaining a high level of professionalism. This is an exciting and diverse role, focused on relationship management and the development your client portfolio across South Australia.   

Key Responsibilities:

  • Retain and grow existing key accounts
  • Develop and execute sales strategies that align with customer needs.
  • Provide exceptional service, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for both Visy and our customers.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive business success.
  • Liaise and work closely with Internal Sales Coordinators and Customer Services to manage all New Product Development and ensure on time delivery

What You Will Bring to the Team

  • Proven experience in sales and account management
  • Background in packaging and/or manufacturing is highly regarded.
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Commercial acumen, attention to detail, and a solution-focused mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
