The Opportunity
We’re looking for an energetic and customer-focused Sales & Operations Representative to support our Fibre Produce Packaging business in Innisfail and surrounding regions. Focused on produce - covering bananas, papaya, and other local crops - you’ll work directly with growers and customers to deliver tailored packaging solutions.
This is a highly autonomous role, perfect for a self-starter who thrives on variety, building relationships, and contributing to the success of both our customers and the Visy business.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and grow a diverse customer portfolio in the produce industry.
- Be the trusted face of Visy in the field and office based - building long-term relationships and offering more than just a product.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless solutions and ensure exceptional service.
- Act as a strategic advisor to your customers, identifying opportunities for mutual growth.
- Support operational and team activities where required - flexibility and initiative are key.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Proven experience in sales, agriculture, or packaging (ideally a combination).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - you build trust and rapport easily.
- A hands-on, proactive mindset with the ability to work independently in a regional setting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a genuine passion for supporting local industry.
- A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel locally.
