The opportunity:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, in a full-time permanent role at our Hamilton operations, you will be part of the maintenance team and work closely with the production operations team to lead initiatives in reducing plant downtime by conducting preventative maintenance activities, immediate breakdown repairs, general electrical fault-finding and continuous improvement.
You will use our maintenance software systems to record and plan maintenance activities, along with maintaining awareness and commitment to employment and legislative responsibilities, in relation to safety, quality and the environment.
This is a diverse and varied role where you’ll work on both day-to-day requirements and projects.

Since opening in May 2018, we have been maximising our manufacturing capabilities to support and distribute high volumes of quality packaging solutions to all big brands across New Zealand.
What you will bring to the team:
Coming with a minimum of 5 years maintenance experience from a high-volume manufacturing environment or similar industry, you will hold a Full NZ Electrical Trade License along with an Electrical trade qualification. You will also have:
- Experience in Electrical and Electronics fault-finding (with Printed Circuit Boards, PLC’s and Motor Controls)
- An ability to read electrical schematics
- Knowledge of AS/NZS 3000.
- Experience within AS-Interface and automation systems is highly desirable.
A team player that has proficient computer skills along with good written and verbal communication skills, you are self-motivated, have a proactive approach and value the safety of yourself and others above all else.
