About the Role:
We’re seeking a skilled Electrical Supervisor to join our West Wodonga Board Plant. This is a full-time permanent role on a day shift 6am – 2pm, with overtime available.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely.
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Overlook and supervise daily operations of the electrical department, working hand in hand with the Mechanical Supervisor to ensure the site is supported by Maintenance.
- Working alongside your team, on the tools up to 70% of the time, as well as supervising and mentoring.
- Develop and maintain an electrical preventative maintenance program.
- Ensure ongoing electrical support to the production team and upkeep of machinery and equipment to minimise downtime and maintain productivity and waste targets.
- Perform routine electrical tests, complete planned maintenance and attend breakdowns.
- Oversee and support installation and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Use continuous improvement to ensure optimal safety, efficiency and quality.
- Mentor and guide electrical team on best practice, training and safety.
- Assisting in the selection and development of the electrical team.
What You Will Bring to the Team:
- Electrical Qualifications with an Electrical Licence (ideally Supervisor).
- Must have Manufacturing experience, ideally within a maintenance team.
- Leadership experience with a passion for mentoring junior team members.
- Experience in Automated machinery, PLC’s and Drives required.
- Knowledge of AS/NZ S 3000 and ability to read electrical schematics / drawings.
- Continuous improvement focus, looking at processes and analytics.
- Adhere, uphold and maintain OHS policies and procedures.
