Role Details:

Routes: Running to various local locations across Melbourne metro and regional Victoria
Locations: Based in Laverton
Hours: minimum 8 hours per day
What you'll do:
- Operating Hook trucks and Marrell
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and compliant.
- Ensure timely and efficient pick-up and delivery of freight, maintaining adherence to schedules.
- Accurately complete electronic reporting systems and other required documentation.
- Comply with all company/site policies and state and national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.
- Adhere to all load restraint guidelines to ensure freight is securely transported.
What You Will Bring:
- A valid HR License with 2 years Australian driving experience.
- Experience with tautliners, flatbeds, retractable or container trailers.
- Sound knowledge of the VIC metro & regional area
- Provide a full 5-year demerit point history report.
- Complete Visy Practical Driver Assessment.
- Excellent communication, time management skills and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
- A comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws.
- BFM Certification – or willingness to obtain.
- Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
