Role details:
We’re seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our Reservoir Board Plant. This is a full-time permanent role on a day shift 6am – 2.30pm with daily overtime available. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll play a role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely.
What you’ll do:
- Working alongside the production team to complete routine maintenance tasks.
- Troubleshooting and resolving breakdowns for production machinery.
- Following app site procedures, with a safety-first mindset.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing.
- Ensuring spare parts are available and ordering as required.
What you’ll bring:
- Trade qualified Fitter, with experience in manufacturing environments.
- Able to work independently and alongside our operators to resolve issues.
- Troubleshooting and breakdown maintenance skills and knowledge.
- Tech-savvy and knowledge of JSEAs and risk assessments.
- Pneumatics, hydraulics and basic machining knowledge.
- A proactive attitude and commitment to safety.
