Role details:
We’re looking for a passionate Shift Supervisor to join our team at the Yatala Glass Recycling Plant. This is a full-time, permanent role on day shift, where you will have the opportunity to make a difference and grow within your role as our brand-new site establishes itself.
Reporting to the Site Manager, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely.
What you’ll do:
- Manage a small but experienced production team
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems to ensure production demands are met
- Work alongside production and maintenance teams to complete planned maintenance tasks
- Manage day-to-day performance of your team
- Oversee onsite WHS and drive continuous improvement around safety and compliance
What you’ll bring:
- Leadership experience within an automated manufacturing environment
- Tech-savvy, with a passion for automation and SCADA exposure beneficial
- Proficiency in problem solving manufacturing issues and taking a process control viewpoint
- Safety first mindset, with awareness of safety compliance and requirements
