About the opportunity:
As a Mechanical Fitter, you’ll be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations by maintaining equipment, supporting your team, and driving continuous improvement. You’ll also play a key role in upholding product quality and collaborating across departments to deliver operational targets.
- Shift Details: Day Shift (8 hrs) Monday to Friday
What you’ll do:
- Perform planned maintenance using CMMS systems
- Monitor plant performance and ensure operational efficiency
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and troubleshoot issues
- Carry out fabrication and welding tasks as required
- Plant to compliant, relevant OHS&E legislation
- Ensure appropriate compliance audits are conducted and issues arising from these audits to be rectified in a timely manner and documented to ensure zero non-conformance
What You Will Bring:
- Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter (Certificate III or equivalent)
- Experience in FMCG manufacturing environment
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Forklift license
