The Opportunity:
As Site Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our Spotswood glass facility’s transport and warehousing operations. You’ll bring a sharp operational mindset, strong attention to detail, and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships. With previous operational leadership experience, you will have strong financial acumen with capability to manage budgets, analyse cost drivers, and contribute to strategic financial decisions that impact operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage supervisors, inventory admin staff, and all rostered drivers and forklift operators
- Oversee fleet, equipment, and contractor engagement
- Maintain customer service standards and relationships
- Manage budgets, performance reporting, and compliance targets
- Drive continuous improvement and innovative solutions
- Develop succession plans and track individual performance metrics
What you will bring to the team:
- Proven leadership experience in transport and warehousing
- Demonstrated P&L management, with a solid financial and analytical acumen
- Strong safety culture and compliance knowledge
- Understanding of fatigue management, load restraint, and mass management
- Familiar with SAP, WMS & TMS to support planning, tracking, and performance reporting
- Proven people management and customer engagement skills
