Our corrugated board plant based in Carole Park, Brisbane has an opportunity for an Industrial Electrician to join our team. You will work with PLC controlled systems, a variety of packaging plant and some of the latest servo-controlled Corrugating and Converting machines.
- Shift details: Fixed afternoon shift, Monday to Friday
- Pay details: Hourly rate + 20% shift loading + OT
What you’ll do:
- Completing scheduled proactive maintenance across all plant and machinery on site
- Reacting to machine breakdowns, keeping downtime to a minimum
- Troubleshooting in Siemens TIA Portal, Step 7 Simatic Manager and Allen Bradley RS Logix 500 programs
- Troubleshooting and repairs to electrical equipment including, variable frequency AC and DC drives, PLC and relay control systems, printed circuit boards, and all other equipment in the cardboard Corrugating and Converting process
- Updating and maintaining records via MEX maintenance portal
- Contributing to a safe working environment for yourself and the team
- Miscellaneous duties as required
What you will bring to the team:
- A Grade Electrical License
- Experience in FMCG manufacturing environment
