Role Details
This is a practical, site-based role supporting day-to-day quality checks and administrative systems within our plastics manufacturing facility. You’ll work closely with Production and Warehouse teams to complete routine QC testing, maintain documentation, and assist with basic quality investigations and reporting. The role includes a strong administrative component and would suit someone organised, detail-focused, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. Visy is powering the circular economy, closing the loop between packaging, remanufacturing and recycling. We collect and sort recyclable materials like paper, cardboard, glass, plastics and metals from households and businesses, and locally remanufacture them back into new, sustainable packaging.
What you’ll do
- Complete routine product quality checks and record results
- Maintain QA documentation and site records
- Assist with customer complaints and non-conformance paperwork
- Support site systems including ISO, HACCP and food safety programs
- Provide general quality and systems support to production teams
- Follow safety and environmental procedures
What You Will Bring
- Experience in manufacturing, QA, admin or similar support roles
- Good attention to detail and basic computer skills
- Ability to follow procedures and complete documentation accurately
