Join us as our Assets and Facilities Manager and play a key role in creating safe, exceptionally maintained, and welcoming properties for all guests, visitors and staff.
What can you expect from a day in this role?
The Assets & Facilities Manager is responsible for the strategic management, maintenance, and optimisation of all Federal Hospitality Assets, buildings and infrastructure.
This role leads the various maintenance teams, oversees maintenance projects, and is responsible for building compliance legislative obligations, and accountable for operational efficiency, and the development and implementation of asset management practices across a diverse property portfolio.
What will you bring to the role?
You’ll be an experienced Assets and Facilities Manager, or equivalent role, who is excited to work with Tasmania’s largest private employer. You’ll bring experience and expertise in the following areas:
Developing and implementing a comprehensive asset management and maintenance strategy for all Federal Hospitality properties, including the introduction of an asset management system.
Leading, supervising, and developing a team of Maintenance Managers and maintenance staff, setting clear performance expectations and fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Overseeing the planning, prioritisation, and execution of preventative and reactive maintenance, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and optimal asset performance.
Managing and coordinating maintenance related refurbishment and capital works projects, including contractor engagement, project timelines, quality assurance, and budget control.
Collaborating with Maintenance Managers to conduct regular inspections and assessments of all buildings and assets to identify maintenance needs, compliance requirements, and opportunities for improvement.
You'll also bring tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and extensive facilities and asset management and leadership experience.
