This role provides dedicated compliance expertise and project support across Gaming Compliance, Responsible Gaming and Regulatory Affairs initiatives. Working closely with the Regulatory Affairs Manager, you will contribute to key compliance and regulatory projects by undertaking compliance analysis, process improvement, implementation activities, reporting and evidence gathering.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, improving processes and working with stakeholders across a highly regulated environment.

Importantly, this role is focused on providing specialist compliance support and completing project-based work. It does not have operational ownership of compliance outcomes or responsibility for leading projects.

What You'll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

  • Provide compliance subject matter expertise and practical support to compliance, regulatory affairs and Responsible Gaming projects.
  • Assist with process redesign, documentation development and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support implementation of regulatory reforms, compliance uplift programs and control enhancements.
  • Prepare compliance analysis, reporting inputs, governance materials and implementation documentation.
  • Coordinate input from internal and external subject matter experts, including financial crime and legal specialists.
  • Support audit, assurance and control improvement activities.
  • Help develop practical compliance guidance, templates, training materials and communication resources.
  • Work collaboratively with venue leaders, compliance teams, project stakeholders and business leaders across Federal Group.

About You

  • Experience supporting projects, compliance initiatives, governance activities or process improvement programs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to translate complex information into clear, practical and actionable outcomes.
  • Excellent written communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong organisation, documentation and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience in one or more of the following areas will be highly regarded:
  • Compliance, risk, governance or regulatory affairs.
  • Responsible Gaming or gaming operations.
  • Hospitality, casino or other regulated industries.
  • Financial crime, AML/CTF or assurance activities.
  • Regulatory change, audit remediation or project implementation.
