Our finance division comprises a team of 9 accountants and 7 accounts payable officers, which delivers complete end-to-end accounts payable and monthly financial statements, for over 65 different business entities.

The Role:
PBA Services is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their finance team based in Hamilton, QLD.
Reporting to the Group Accountant, you will compile financial reports for an allocated number of Pharmacies ensuring that the month-end management reports and commentary are delivered accurately and on time.
This is a hands-on position best suited to an experienced accountant that values understanding the intricacies of their role and has a keen eye for detail. You will ideally have experience in a commercial accounting environment and enjoy the challenge of successfully meeting our clients’ monthly timelines.
What you will do:
Preparing monthly reports including profit & loss, balance sheet, operating results, cashflow including associated analysis with commentary;
When preparing the monthly reports you will be involved right from the bank rec through to balance sheet reconciliations;
Working with the rest of the finance team to improve processes and collectively strive for continual improvement in processes and outcomes;
Liaising with business stake holders to ensure store reporting is accurate and on-time.
What we are looking for:
Degree & CA/CPA qualified (or currently studying);
Experience in preparing monthly financial statements including profit & loss, balance sheet, operating results, and cashflow statements;
Understanding of monthly and annual compliance obligations including activity statements, payroll tax as well as compiling information to assist in the external preparation of annual income tax returns;
Experience using Microsoft Dynamics / Dynamics 365 advantageous;
High level of communication and interpersonal skills;
High level of time management and organisational skills.
