You will be responsible for planning, managing and completing projects in a safe, efficient, timely and cost-effective manner through the diligent management of people, subcontractors and resources. You will actively provide leadership and guidance to construction crews, as well as coordinating day to day operations, managing budgets and planning / scheduling of work. This role is based at Direk, but our team is often working away from Adelaide on project construction sites. Rosters vary depending on the requirements of different projects, and as Construction Manager you will be to need to be on site as required to manage the project requirements. So some time working away from home should be expected (overtime at double time and travel allowances apply). Reporting to the Manager Substation Construction, responsibilities of this role include:
