    About the role
     
    We are seeking to appoint an experienced Field Supervisor on an initial 24-month contract. A large majority of construction will be performed in regional SA for the NBN N2P projects and require people to travel away for up to 90% of the time between Monday and Friday. You will be reporting to the Construction Supervisor, overseeing and ensuring the successful completion of telecommunication construction activities at the site. This role involves coordinating all work groups and contractors necessary for project success.
     
    The Field Supervisor is responsible to monitor the safely, quality, efficiency of our internal workforce and contractors. The Field Supervisor also
     
    Day to day you will: 
    • Provide support, communication, supervision of direct team and contractors on site.
    • Reviewing the overall performance of the work crews, including productivity, customer service, quality & compliance
    • Driving and reviewing the performance of the work group against agreed program.
    • Together with the Project Manager provide effective project deliverables to ensure the achievement of major projects within agreed timeframes and standards
     
    About you 
     
    You will have exceptional communication skills and the ability to problem-solve at a high level across all aspects of the role. The ideal candidate would have experience in building NBN networks, with a strong background in telecommunications, infrastructure, including:
    • Telecommunication network construction and commissioning experience and contractor management including:
      • Optical fibre cable installation, splicing, and testing (including data cabling)
      • Pit and pipe installation and utility-type builds
    • Previous experience in Field leadership in construction or related industry
    • Current Drivers Licence
    • Hold white card
