The Opportunity

The Cranlana Centre for Ethical Leadership (CCEL) has an exciting opportunity to join the team as an Executive Officer.

The Executive Officer provides a range of executive secretarial, administrative and office management services, project coordination and  financial reporting to support the operations of the office of CCEL, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), other senior managers and colleagues. 

As the successful candidate you will be responsible for providing a range of executive support and office administration services including: facilitating communication and workflow, producing and editing papers, briefings, presentations and other written materials.  Your responsibilities will also include calendar and travel management, meeting coordination, policy application and advice, and coordinating events such as workshops, functions and conferences. Additionally, you will handle purchase orders, invoices and project support, and be comfortable using multiple technical systems such as project management tools, financial CRM’s and virtual meeting platforms. You will liaise with and act as conduit between senior managers and stakeholders, colleagues and clients on a variety of organisational matters including facilitation of meetings, travel arrangements, communication and their personal financial reports.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong educational background or substantial relevant skills and work experience. The role requires a degree in a relevant field with subsequent relevant experience; or extensive experience and specialist expertise or broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
