  • A track record in negotiating commercial and legal agreements, particularly IP licences, with the ability to lead or support deal structuring and execution

  • Deep domain expertise in life sciences, with the ability to understand and evaluate scientific innovations, and translate them into compelling commercial opportunities and strategies

  • Well-established networks across industry, investors, and research organisations, enabling you to identify partnership opportunities and attract external interest in Monash innovations

  • Exceptional analytical, communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build trusted relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and translate complex ideas clearly and persuasively

  • A collaborative, proactive approach, with a focus on continuous improvement, service excellence and shared success

  • Demonstrated commitment to building a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, through education, advisory support, and active contribution to the research and commercialisation ecosystem
