About Us

The Finance Services group plays a critical role in the effective and sustainable management of the Monash Business School’s financial position, and partners with organisational units within the School to oversee and support the development of strong and consistent financial management capability. We are the key interface and link with the University’s central finance and resource management teams, and have a highly capable team with specialist skills in management accounting, revenue and expenditure reporting, financial modelling and analysis.

The Opportunity

We are now seeking an experienced individual to join the team on a fixed-term 12 month basis to join our collaborative team.

In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to provide best practice services in areas of budget planning, forecasting, financial insights and analysis and reporting. You will work closely with our key internal stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor providing insights for strategic decision making, and leveraging the expertise you have gained in your career, and the wealth of knowledge in our team, to ensure our Faculty’s continuing success.

About You

CA or CPA qualified with extensive experience in financial analysis, budgeting, modelling stakeholder engagement, you will utilise your expertise in strategic budgeting and forecasting, project costing and financial analysis to partner with our internal stakeholders, providing them with data-driven insights in order to make sound decisions.  Experience with ERP systems and PowerBI will be highly regarded.
