The Opportunity
Join the dynamic team at Monash Nursing and Midwifery as a Clinical Learning Environment Officer and make a vital impact on the future of healthcare education. This position will play an essential part in preparing and maintaining our Clinical Learning Environments (CLEs), ensuring they are fully equipped and ready for diverse teaching and learning activities. Responsibilities will include setting up and packing down CLEs, maintaining and operating simulation equipment and ensuring materials are prepared and stored according to established protocols. Supporting the smooth operation of our CLEs will help create an exceptional learning experience that empowers both students and staff.
We are seeking someone with a proactive and collaborative mindset, who excels in both independent and team-based settings. You will work directly with simulation equipment, ensuring its safe, effective operation in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety standards. Additionally, the role includes essential administrative tasks such as accessing and printing teaching resources and managing consumables.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical proficiency, including basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Suite, along with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems. A background in administration or experience in technical or educational settings will be highly valued.
