The Opportunity

The NHMRC OPTimising Immunoglobulin use in Australia (OPTIMAL) Centre for Research Excellence (CRE) builds on the Transfusion Research Unit’s long-standing success in blood research. We are seeking a CRE Program Manager to join the team to play a central role in coordinating and delivering this multifaceted program of work. Working closely with researchers, students and external collaborators, the position involves managing resources, timelines and partnerships to support the achievement of program objectives.

Responsibilities include preparing project reports, ensuring regulatory compliance and organizing investigator meetings. The role also provides an opportunity to foster collaboration with a diverse range of clinical, research and community stakeholders, contributing to improvements in clinical practice and policy.

We are seeking someone with postgraduate qualifications or equivalent relevant experience, combined with demonstrated experience in operational management and strategic planning, stakeholder engagement and resource allocation.
