The Opportunity
Join our team as a Student Engagement & Support Officer at our dynamic and internationally-focused Prato Centre, where you'll play a pivotal role in assisting students participating in academic programs at Monash University in Prato,
As a Student Engagement & Support Officer, you will provide assistance with initiatives and communication which promote student engagement with the community. You will be responsible for engaging with and administering student service life-cycle administration, as well as enriching the student experience by assisting with activities such as: orientation, pre-departure information and transition, and local engagement events such as Prato Campus Week and Open Day. You will also assist with the preparation of student and community communications as well as promoting and publicising local engagement initiatives on digital media platforms
About you
As the ideal candidate you will have excellent written and oral communication skills in English and good working knowledge of Italian, as well as holding existing working rights in Italy/Europe. Monash Prato alumni will also be highly considered.
You will have experience providing excellent professional administrative support services in a busy and complex environment, paired with a commitment to high quality service, customer care and effective stakeholder engagement with an ability to exercise discretion and empathy.
In addition, critical to this role is your strong organisational and time management skills, interpersonal communication and the ability to create and maintain web page and social media content.
